The hospitality industry is highly dependent on human resources for delivering quality service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Effective human resource management (HRM) plays a crucial role in addressing challenges such as employee retention, workforce diversity, and skill development. This paper examines key HRM practices in the hospitality sector, focusing on employee retention strategies, training and development programs, and workforce-related challenges in hotels. The study adopts a qualitative approach using secondary data from academic literature and industry reports. Findings indicate that employee satisfaction, continuous training, and supportive work environments significantly contribute to retention and service quality. However, issues such as high turnover rates, work stress, and lack of career growth opportunities continue to affect the industry. The paper concludes that strategic HRM practices are essential for improving workforce stability and achieving long-term organizational success.
