Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The Journal of Advanced Research and Innovation (JARI) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, integrity, and transparency.   • Authors must promptly notify the journal if a significant error is discovered after submission or publication.

2. Duties and Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality regarding manuscripts received for review.
  • Reviews should be objective, constructive, and free from personal criticism or bias.
  • Reviewers must identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
  • Any conflict of interest must be disclosed, and reviewers must decline assignments where impartiality may be affected.
  • Reviewers should report any suspected ethical issues, such as plagiarism or data manipulation, to the editor.

3. Duties and Responsibilities of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication based on academic merit, originality, and relevance.
  • Editorial decisions must be fair, unbiased, and not influenced by race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, or personal relationships.
  • Editors must ensure a confidential and transparent peer review process.
  • Editors are responsible for addressing ethical concerns, including plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and research misconduct.
  • Editors must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for personal research without author consent.
  • Editors must take corrective actions such as issuing corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern when necessary.

  • The Editorial Board supports the editor in maintaining journal quality and academic standards.
  • Board members assist in identifying qualified reviewers and advising on editorial policies.
  • Members are expected to uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in handling submissions.
  • They must avoid any conflict of interest in editorial decision-making processes.
  • The board ensures continuous improvement of the journal’s academic integrity and global reach.

  • The publisher ensures that all published content complies with ethical publishing standards.
  • It supports editorial independence and does not interfere in editorial decisions.
  • The publisher is responsible for maintaining the digital infrastructure, long-term archiving, and accessibility of content.
  • It ensures that ethical policies are implemented and followed consistently.

6. Conflict of Interest Policy

A conflict of interest occurs when personal, financial, or professional relationships could influence or appear to influence the objectivity of research, review, or editorial decisions.

  • Authors must disclose all financial or non-financial conflicts, including funding sources, affiliations, or personal relationships that may affect the research.
  • Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists, such as collaboration, competition, or personal relationships with the authors.
  • Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest.
  • All disclosed conflicts are taken seriously and managed transparently to maintain trust in the publication process.

7. Ethical Oversight and Malpractice Handling

  • The journal actively investigates all allegations of ethical misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and authorship disputes.
