Transparent Review Policy

The Journal of Advanced Research and Innovation (JARI) is committed to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing through a fair, transparent, and rigorous peer review process. Peer review ensures the quality, originality, and reliability of published research while supporting authors in improving their manuscripts.

Purpose of Peer Review
The peer review process aims to:

  • Assess the originality and significance of submitted manuscripts.
  • Evaluate the quality and validity of research methods and findings.
  • Improve manuscript quality through constructive feedback.
  • Maintain the academic integrity and reputation of the journal.

Review Model
JARI follows a Double-Blind Peer Review System, where:

  • Authors' identities are hidden from reviewers.
  • Reviewers' identities are hidden from authors.
  • Manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic merit, relevance, and research quality.

This approach helps ensure fairness and minimizes potential bias.

Initial Editorial Screening
Before peer review, manuscripts undergo an editorial assessment to verify:

  • Alignment with the journal’s aims and scope.
  • Compliance with submission and formatting guidelines.
  • Ethical standards and required declarations.
  • Acceptable language quality.
  • Plagiarism screening requirements.

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned for revision or rejected.

Reviewer Selection
Each manuscript is typically evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, research experience, and absence of conflicts of interest.

Review Criteria
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and contribution to knowledge.
  • Research design and methodology.
  • Literature review and theoretical framework.
  • Quality of analysis and interpretation.
  • Clarity of presentation and organization.
  • Ethical compliance and proper citation practices.

Editorial Decisions
Based on reviewer recommendations, the editorial team may decide to:

  • Accept the manuscript.
  • Request Minor Revisions.
  • Request Major Revisions.
  • Reject the manuscript.

The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
