Biography of the Eyinar in Ancient Literature

Abstract

In the Tamil literary tradition, the social and life style practices of the Tamils ​​dating back two thousand years can be understood through ancient literature. Among the ancient land divisions, there is no land division called Palai. The Mullai land and the Kurinji land were formed as separate and heterogeneous lands due to climatic changes.  Eyinar living in the desert land were naturally Eyinar who made a living by seizing the things of passersby. The purpose of this article is to learn about such Eyinar.
